Gelato Modo Mio

Gelato Modo Mio (21)

I had many people asking me where to find good quality Ice cream, unfortunately all you can find here nowadays is the ready-made such as Häagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, etc.

So here’s a quick way how to make your own Ice cream, well kind of Ice cream at home in less than 60 seconds, so if you’re busy working, studying or raising a baby, you don’t have an excuse to give it a go. Moreover, it’s fresh and very healthy compared to what you will get down your local supermarket.

Serves 4-6Gelato Modo Mio (40)

• 500g mixed frozen berries
• 3–4 Tbsp honey
• 500g natural yoghurt

So let me show you how to make it. Get yourself the frozen fruit, it can be any fruit you like, here I’m going to use mixed berries (Frutti di Bosco), actually what I tend to do is when I got some fruits that are going on the turn, I chop them up, put them in small bags and chuck them in the freeze.

So bang your fruit in a food processor along with the yogurt, then add the honey to sweeten it. Give it a good old whiz up for one minute.

Taste and add more honey to sweeten it if you like. Spoon the Ice cream to your bowls or cones and enjoy.
